ASHOK Gehlot Named CM of Rajasthan With Sachin Pilot As Dy CM

ASHOK Gehlot,67,former Chief Minister of Rajasthan for two terms was on Friday named as next CM of Rajasthan and Sachin Pilot,41, former Union Minister,  and Pradesh Congress Committee President, will be Deputy CM.It has also been decided by the AICC that the ministries will be equally among their loyalists.  Ghelot, who was protégé of assassinated Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, is currently Congress party’s national general secretary and in-charge of organizations and training. He represents Sardarpura constituency of Jodhpur as Member of Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan in the state assembly.  Sachin Pilot represented the Ajmer constituency as an MP in the 15th Lok Sabha from the Congress. He was also the Minister of Corporate Affairs, and was appointed President of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC). Congress will form government in the state with the support of Independent MLAs and some caste based parties after it has failed to win the magic number in the 200 –Member assembly in the recent elections. Soon after Gehlot returned to Jaipur from Delhi after talks with AICC President Rahul Gandhi, ADG announced that henceforth he will be provided Z plus security cover. According to media report, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra pleaded for Gehlot over Pilot as CM.
