Indian American activist Chaudhuri rubbishes allegation against RSS

INDIAN American activist Pabitra Chaudhuri has refuted the accusation   made by Kaleem Kawaja that RSS is engaged   in changing the Indian-American Community’s mindset through a letter published in   India Abroad. Citing the allegation Chaudhuri said it was published in India Abroad on October 28, 2019 .Kaleem Kawaja stated that “sectarian and narrow-minded Hindus in India have started exporting the virus of religious intolerance to the Indian – American community. They are spreading hatred against India’s religious and ethnic minorities”.Chaudhuri said he referred to the “intolerant nature of the Indian-American community” as well. He deplored the growth of Hindu American organizations in USA; Chaudhuri said and added that India Abroad is very open-hearted welcoming to anti-Hindu fulminations. It printed lot of vituperations against India and Hindu community by Kaleem Kawaja over a long period. Most of these remain un-answered.  ‘’ For Mr Kawaja it is fine to blame Hindus for non-existent faultiness. Fine , as thousands of  Muslim organizations   in USA are formed  for the benefit of Muslims , apart from huge  heavy-weight organizations like ICAR , ICNA  and  thousands of  Mosques, Chaudhuri said.Mr Kawaja advised Indian-Americans from a pulpit with façade of magnanimity that “their welfare lies in forming common cause with other minorities, not only in the US, but all over the world, and for emphasizing the human rights of religious and ethnic minorities everywhere” .   Mr Kawaja is critical of Hindus in India and USA about treatment of minority Muslims in India. Truth is in the fact that post-independent India in 1947 had 8% Muslim and 88% Hindu, which now stands at 15% and 78% respectively. But in the only Muslim majority state of Jammu & Kashmir, Hindus were subjected to horrendous persecution and there was ethnic cleansing  of 400,000 Hindus from J & K. These  Hindus are languishing for thirty years scattered in refugee camps and elsewhere   in other states , Chaudhuri  said.It never happened in the modern world that the majority of the nation are trampled this way by minority – ousted from own home-state.  Mr  Kawaja  “emphasized the   human rights of religious and ethnic minorities everywhere ” .So instead of crying foul on India ,where Muslims registered a percentile population growth of whooping  100%  in relation to Hindus ,he may sharpen focus on the instances cited above  and please take up for equal rights of all people of all religions in any country abolishing the concept  of state religion with vengeful  Blasphemy Law.  Otherwise neutral nations of Open Societies also will be lured to the easy way –  adopt state  religion to defend from invasive religions. Will Mr. Kawaja lend his might to support their safe return of the ousted Hindus to their ancestral homes in J AND K? Will he raise alarm  at the chronic terrifying situation of  Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan ,where they have been  decimated from 29% and 20% of 1947 to 7% and 1% at present ? Some twenty million Muslims illegally infiltrated into India, but not one Muslim crossed out. People run away – not walk into danger Chaudhuri said.
