BJP said no one can save a sinking dispensation mired in corruption and maladministration after West Bengal’s Trinamool Congress roped in professional strategist and JD (U) Vice President Prashant Kishore assigning him with the task of inventing mantras for the TMC’s revival in the 2021 State elections. Kishore , 42,born in Bihar’s Buxar, was poll  strategist for  PM Narendra  Modi  in 2014, YSRCP leader  and now  Andhra Pradesh Chief  Minister  YS Jagmohan Reddy  and JD(U) supremo and Bihar Chief  Minister  Nitish Kumar. He had  a closed door confidential  meet with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her nephew and MP Abhishek Banerjee, invisible her number 2, for about two hours in Nabanna her office in Howrah  on Thursday. The professional-turned-politician would take up the responsibility of upping TMC’s TRP in Bengal politics through a series of research works, The  Pioneer  says  citing sources .He will begin his work in July when his team will reach Bengal and visit all the districts till the lowest level, find out the issues, assess the element and measure of polarisation, factor in the organizational weaknesses and the reason of popular discontent besides reckoning the “outreach of Mamata Banerjee’s developmental project in real terms,” a senior party leader said. After his team has done its field work Kishore will suggest ways to Mamata Banerjee for her party’s electoral revival in Bengal, sources said. Reacting  to his  appointment, Wes Bengal  BJP president Dilip Ghosh, MP, said  the saffron party  was not  at all rattled  by the professional’s appointment .“No amount of professional touch” would be able to revive a moribund party the TMC was today. “They are hated more than CPI (M) in Bengal. Their fall and decimation is only a matter of time because the people of Bengal have made up their mind to do away with Mamata Banerjee and her goons,” Ghosh said.
