Science Fiction 2.0 In Tamil Starring Rajinikanth & Akshay Kumar Appreciated by Movie Buffs

SUPERSTRAS Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 directed by Shankar is breaking all records in box office. The Science fiction in Tamil language opened on November 29 is stated to be the ninth-most expensive non-English-language film. It has been made at a cost of  543  crore INR .Ageing Rajinikanth affectionately called Thalaivar meaning boss in Tamil language remains as popular as he has been over the years. His ardent fans are crowding theatres expressing their love for the superstar to watch his latest release “2.0” as early as 3.30 AM in Mumbai. They came from far off places like Navi Mumbai and Virar, performed a small AArati before entering the screen to watch their Thalaivar on screen. President of Maharashtra State Head Rajini Fans’ Welfare Association, Thalapathi SK Athimoolam said the organisation planned to make the film’s release a grand event, just like all Rajinikanth movies. At IMAX Wadala, Rajinikanth fans took out a rath yatra where a cardboard of the megastar was carried in a small carriage. People were seen bowing down in front of their idol, several of  them wearing T-shirts with Rajinikanth’s picture imprinted .Fans performed ‘abhishek’ on a 69-feet-long cut-out of Rajinikanth, a ritual that has been a part of the celebrations for years. At the Aurora cinema, where south Indian movies are screened several pamphlets of Rajinikanth as robot Chitti hung from ropes outside the theatre as part of the decorations to hail its release. Although Rajinikanth has starred in several movies made in Bollywood, for the first time he appears in the film with another action super star Akshay Kumar. He said “ I am privileged  to share screen space  with the Thalaivar”.  It is his first appearance in aSouth Indian film. Written and directed by Shankar and co-written by B. Jeyamohan, India’s  most expensive movie  is produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions. Noted Music director A R Rahman has composed music for the movie with running time 0f 147 minutes
