DRONE Strikes By US Against ISI-K After Deadly Kabul Attack

PENTAGON claimed to have killed a planner of the IS-K group in Nangahar Province of Eastern Afghanistan by a drone strike in retaliation for the ghastly explosions outside the Kabul International Airport on Thursday killing as many as  170 people, including 13 US troops and two Britons. No civilian was affected by the drone attack. A mass airlift has been underway at the airport since Taliban militants took over the mountainous nation. President Joe Biden promised on Friday to hunt down the jihadists behind the dastardly inhuman actions. The unmanned airstrike, as per initial indication, killed the target,” a “planner” of Islamic State-Khorasan. The far more radical group than the Taliban has claimed credit for the deadly suicide bombing at Kabul airport. AFP News Agency says the attack in Kabul International airport was for blocking  Afghans from leaving the country. IS-K, or Islamic State- Khorasan Province abetted allegedly by ISI of Pakistan,  is stated to be the most extreme and violent of all the jihadist militant groups in Afghanistan. A U.S. official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the strike was against the Islamic State militant group for a future attack. The militant was killed by a repeater drone while he was in a car with an Islamic State accomplice. Both are believed to have been killed, the official added. Meanwhile, India, the US, UK & other nations have prioritized evacuation of their nationals by special flights before the August 31 deadline amidst horrified Afghans fleeing to Pakistan and Iran.
