INDIAN AIRFORCE With Mirage fighter Jets Backed by Sukhoi Destroyed Terrorist Camps across LOC Dropping 1,000 kg Bombs

POST dastardly killings of 44 CRPF personnel by a suicide bomber on February 14 in Kashmir Valley, The Indian Air Force launched air strikes on terror camps and launch pads across the Line of Control in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir at 3.30am on February 26. Sources in the Indian Air Force told media 1,000 kg bombs were dropped on Jaish bases across the LOC by jets, including the IAF’s Mirage 2000. Indian government claims about 300 terrorists were killed .No casualty was suffered by the civilian population. Jaish was planning further attacks after Pulwama. Pakistan based Jaish has claimed responsibility for the Pulwama massacre. Pakistan military spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor alleged that the IAF violated the Line of Control. Ghafoor tweeted that that the Indian aircrafts intruded into Pakistan from the Muzafarabad sector and dropped payloads in Balakot sector. However, he claimed that no casualties and damages were reported in the attack in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The IAF used laser-guided bombs in the airstrike that lasted for 21 minutes. Sources added that Balakot, 30km from Muzafarabad, was hit in the airstrike. 200 to 300 terrorists killed in airstrike. As per an initial estimate, around 300 terrorists are believed to be killed in the airstrike, sources have said. Sources in the Union Home ministry have said that the BSF has been put on high alert along the International Border. Punjab is also on high alert. Soon after Indian struck terror camps in Pakistan NSA Ajit Doval briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the airstrikes. Sources quoted by news channels claimed that senior JeM leaders were moved to safe locations before airstrike. Anticipating stronger action by Indian forces after the terror attack in Pulwama and POTUS Donald John Trump said India was planning some stronger action against terrorists, Jaish leaders were moved to safer places. Abdul Rouf Asghar, brother of JeM chief Maulana Masood Azhar, is said to have been moved out to Punjab. Sources added that Maulana Masood Azhar was also moved from a JeM camp in Bahawalpur. Meanwhile, AICC, TMC, AAP and other opposition parties have hailed the successful pre dawn operation conducted by the IAF.The Cabinet Committee on Security chaired by PM Narendra Modi also met to reviews the situation in the aftermath of the second surgical strike conducted during NDA regime.
