OPPOSITION’S Only Intent to raise Rafale Deal Repeatedly Is To Tarnish PM’s Image, Says BJP

BJP has alleged that the only purpose of the opposition parties is to tarnish the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by referring to alleged corruption in the Rafale deal at the drop of a hat. Speaking to reporters at Andhra  Pradesh’s Nellore, BJP national general secretary Y. Satya Kumar  said after the Supreme Court of  India and the Comptroller and Auditor General 0f India  (CAG)  have  okayed the deal, there is no  point  in suspecting  of any  wrongdoing  in  the government to government  deal  between the  Governments of  India and France. Besides, the GOI has given clarifications about the acquisition of 36 aircraft from a France based aviation giant. The opposition intended to taint the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for political gain in the coming elections although there were no grounds to level the charges. People will give them befitting reply in the elections, he added. The CAG says The inter-governmental contract for Rafale was 2.86 per cent than the earlier aligned price.The BJP leader advised the ministers of TD to remember that all the welfare programmes being implemented by AP were backed by the Centre. He told them that they should not forget that they won the 2014 elections because of the support of PM Modi. Meanwhile, 3 Rafale Jets Touch Down In Bengaluru For Aero Show Amid Political Row.The Rafale fighters landed at the Yelahanka Air Force Station on the outskirts of Bengaluru, where the 12th edition of the Aero India show will take place from February 20-24. Kumar said that TD was targeting the BJP because of its fear of being exposed for its lar-ge scale corruption and its rampant worry over their political future. Kumar credited the Vice-President for the establishment of thermal power projects producing 6,500 MW in Nellore. The BJP leader has alleged that TD is the only party in the country to buy legislators from another party (YSRC) and give them ministerial berths. He said there was no history of TD winning the elections without any alliance and predicted the debacle of the party in the ensuing elections. He said TD leaders and its chief Nara Chandra Babu Naidu had suddenly started praising Vice-President because of realisation over impending defeat. Incidentally, the Dassault Rafale is a French twin-engine, canard delta wing, multirole fighter aircraft designed and built by Dassault Aviation which has top speed: 2,223 km per hour with a range of 3,700 km.Rafale Jet can carry out both air-to-ground, as well as air-to-air attacks and interceptions during the same sortie, claims the manufacturers.
