AP Does Not Get Enough Central Funds For CM Naidu’s Ineffectiveness: Jagan Reddy

Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, Opposition Leader in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly has faulted Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu for allocation of inadequate funds by the central government in the Interim Budget for 2019-20. People of Andhra Pradesh suffered due to CM’s ineffectiveness. “For the past four years, two Telugu Desam leaders were in the Cabinet but failed to get any funds for the State. Before resigning both the ministers along with Naidu had praised the Central Government instead of opposing. TDP had hailed the Modi Government even though it had released just Rs 1 lakh for the Visakhapatnam Metro and not even a single rupee for the Polavaram project. The parties that deceived the State will surely be taught a lesson,” Mr Reddy said  recalling “On the days when our party MLAs attended the Assembly wearing black shirts, the TDP thanked the BJP led Central Government for giving a special package to AP as against the SCS. The TD did not give a chance to our members to speak in the Assembly for even 30 seconds!”Mr Reddy further said that this situation had arisen because the Mr Naidu had surrendered to the Centre fearing prosecution in the cash-for-vote case. He alleged that the Centre and the State Governments had done PhD in cheating people and lamented that degrading politics was a new trend in the present situation. He reiterated that Mr Naidu himself had agreed for Special Package instead of Special Category Status.(inputs from The Deccan Chronicle)
