Manohar Parrikar Discharged From Hospital

 

GOA Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, ever smiling and popular politico across the political parties, has been discharged by Goa Medical College and Hospital bringing relief to the State administration. He was hospitalised for dehydration and low blood pressure.”The Chief Minister has been discharged from the hospital and will recuperate at home,” an official attached to the Chief Minister’s Office told reporters on Thursday. Parrikar was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on February 15 for “mild pancreatitis” according to the Chief Minister’s Office at Panaji.He returned to Goa on February 22 to deliver a truncated annual budget speech, before being admitted to the Goa Medical College and Hospital late on February 25 sparking speculation about his health.  Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party leaders  have been conducting Mahamrityunjay Jaaps -chants to defy death- and prayer services in the coastal state’s churches for Parrikar’s good health.Parrrikar,62, is a Metallurgical  Engineer from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology  Mumbai and is the first IIT alumni to become CM of any India State.  (image- news18)
