PROMINENT  cine star  Chiranjeevi, sought- after by political parties and film producers, has opted for self-quarantine following testing positive for COVID-19. Chiranjeevi is a former Lok Sabha Member. He was Minister of State with independent charge for the Ministry of Tourism at the center.  Chiranjeevi has worked primarily in Telegu Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi films. Only some days ago Chiranjeevi had Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao along with industry colleague Nagarjuna. The actor-politician, who was earlier asymptomatic, volunteered for a test on Monday, November 09 before resuming shooting for his upcoming Telugu action-drama “Acharya”. Chiranjeevi in a post on tweeter has requested the people who came in contact with him to also get themselves tested. “Took a test for COVID before resuming ‘Acharya’ shoot as a protocol and unfortunately tested positive. I am currently asymptomatic and quarantining myself at home. “Request all those who met me in the last five few days to also undergo COVID tests. Will update you on my recovery soon,” the 65 years old actor-politician added. “Acharya”, being produced by his son, actor Ram Charan, is directed by Koratala Siva and also stars Kajal Aggarwal.
