WB BJP Chief Dilip Ghosh Tested Positive for Covid-19

WEST Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh, MP, was hospitalised in Kolkata following testing positive for Covid-19 on Friday night. He was reportedly running fever and underwent a Corona test. The results came positive on Friday night and he was admitted to the high dependency unit (HDU) of the hospital in Salt Lake. Ghosh’s oxygen saturation level in the body was fine and his condition was quite stable. He was not keeping well for the past couple of days and he, therefore, had voluntarily gone for a self-isolation before undergoing the Covid-19 test, said BJP  source. Ghosh, 56, born in a middle-class family in Gopivallabhapur in WB’s Paschim Medinipur district, represents the Kharagpur Sadar in the Lok Sabha. He started his career as a “Pracharak” of RSS in 1984. He was the in-charge of RSS in Andaman and Nicobar Islands from 1999 to 2007, and worked as an assistant to then RSS chief K. S. Sudarshan. In 2014, Ghosh was deputed to BJP and appointed as the General Secretary of the West Bengal unit.
