Academics, students hail Prof Bramh Prakash Pethiya’s appointment as VC of Rabindranath Tagore University

Acclaimed academician and management expert Bramh Prakash Pethiya has been appointed as Vice-Chancellor of UGC approved Rabindranath Tagore University established in 2010 in Madhya Pradesh. Rabindranath Tagore University, formerly AISECT University, is a private university established by All India Society for Electronics & Computer Technology in Raisen District, Madhya Pradesh, having a Branch in Bhopal, is also recognized by the  Madhya Pradesh Government. It provides academic programmes in graduate, postgraduate and research levels in Engineering, Information Technology, Management, Law, Science, Arts, Commerce, Education, Paramedical, etc. AISECT Academy for Fire, Safety & Security was launched with the support of NAFS– National Academy of Fire & Safety Engineering. The appointment of Bramhaprakash as VC will go a long way in helping the student community because of his distinguished long experience in the academic and administrative field for about 40 years. Bramhaprakash did his PGDM from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and earned his Ph.D. in Applied Economics and Business Management. He had earlier held the posts of Dean and Director at the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, Institute of Technology and Science, Ghaziabad, IFIM Business School Bengaluru, Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad. Bramhaprakash is an international management expert. He has been a member of committees of various ministries of the Government of India. He was known internationally for his research work in environmental management. Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, Santosh Chaubey and  Registrar, Vijay Singh, have welcomed Bramhaprakash Pethia as VC. Santosh Choubey said that the specialty of Rabindranath Tagore University is its world-class infrastructure.
