Biography on PM Modi released

A  new book titled “Narendra Modi, Harbinger of Prosperity & Apostle of World Peace”, was released by KG Balakrishnan, former chief justice of India, to mark the completion of six years of Modi as the Prime Minister on Friday, May 29. Amid the ongoing lockdown, the book release event was hosted on the internet with dignitaries present in both India and the US, said its co-author Adish C. Aggarwala. The book is co-authored by Aggarwala, President of the International Council of Jurists and Chairman of All India Bar Association, and Elisabeth Horan, an American author and poet. “With rare photographs of Modi’s childhood and early life, the biography traces his stunning personal and professional trajectory from being a boy who served tea to becoming the country’s Prime Minister for the second time. It includes lesser-known facts and anecdotes “ about  Narendra Modi, a self-made great statesman who is playing a pivotal role in national and international affairs, the statement said. The book is available in two formats, hardcover and e-book, and in 20 languages: 10 foreign languages — English, Arabic, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Russian, and Spanish — and 10 Indian languages — Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu, said the eminent jurist noted for taking up humanitarian causes in the judiciary. The book contains forewords by  Union Home Minister  Amit Shah, Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister for  Finance and Messages from Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways and Shipping Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises; Piyush Goyal, Union Minister for Railways and Coal and Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev besides several others who have worked with Modi for several years.  Incidentally, senior advocate Aggarwala born in 1956  in Haryana, authored a  book on the Constitution of India with the foreword by Justice K.G. Balakrishnan and presented to then President of India, Pratibha Devisingh Patil.
