PM Modi congratulates Joe Biden, Kamla Harris

PRIME Minister Narendra Modi has extended  ‘’Heartiest congratulations’’  to the 46th U.S. President-elect Joseph R  Biden JR and  Kamla Harris who has been elected as the  Vice President of the oldest democracy in the world.PM Modi hopes under their leadership relations between India and the North American nation will be further strengthened in varied spheres.PM  congratulated Joe Biden on his US presidential election victory, saying he is looking forward to work closely together once again to take India-US relations to greater heights. “Congratulations Joe Biden on your spectacular victory! As the VP, your contribution to strengthening Indo-US relations was critical and invaluable. I look forward to working closely together once again to take India-US relations to greater heights, Congratulating  Kamla Harris, 56, the first American-Indian and Asian-American, an Attorney turned Politico, Modi said “Your success is pathbreaking, and a matter of immense pride not just for your chittis, but also for all Indian-Americans. I am confident that the vibrant India-US ties will get even stronger with your support and leadership”. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in a tweet has also congratulated Joe Biden and Harris.
