PM Modi directs his party’s workers & leaders to ENSURE nobody remains HUNGRY

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, April 06 urged BJP workers and leaders to extend help to the economically weaker sections the society. Addressing the 40th foundation Day of ruling BJP in Delhi, he has given a five-point action plan to BJP workers. PM also asked them to cover their faces and carry face-covers for others. Likening the fight against coronavirus to a ‘war’, Modi asked BJP workers to contribute to PM-CARES Funds and send appreciation messages to health workers, doctors and other essential services’ staff for helping India fight COVID-19.’’Our mothers & sisters gave their jewellery during wars in the past. The current situation is in no means less than a war. It is a war to save humanity. I appeal to every BJP worker to contribute to PM-CARES Fund and motivate 40 others for the same,” he said and asked party workers to install ‘Arogya Setu’ app on mobile phones of at least 40 people. The government has developed an Aarogya Setu app. I request all of you to tell people about it, everyone should make sure that at least 40 others install it. They will get info through it about possibly infected cases around them. In these tough times, we have to ensure this,” Modi said in his speech. “Always remember, whenever you go out your face should be covered, I say you should keep your face covered even at your homes. The mantra today for the whole world is social distancing and discipline,” he said. Appreciating the response received for his appeal to light candles at 9 pm on Sunday, PM also said that global bodies such as the World Health Organisation (WHO) have lauded India’s efforts to fight COVID-19.

He appreciated the maturity shown by people during the lockdown describing it as unprecedented. He also urged BJP workers to follow a five-point agenda, including working to ensure that no poor go hungry.
