PRANAB Mukherjee says he is coronavirus positive

FORMER President Pranab Mukherjee, 84, is tested positive. He has advised all those who came in contact with him to get tested at the earliest. Mukherjee, who continues to remain in the national capital since demitting office as the President of India in 2017, himself informed people on Twitter about getting infected by the virus. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is among several dignitaries who have wished his early recovery. ’On a visit to the hospital for a separate procedure, I have tested positive for COVID19 today. I request the people who came in contact with me in the last week, to please self-isolate and get tested for COVID-19.’’ #CitizenMukherjee.
