ARYAN Khan, the eldest son of film producer & interior designer Gauri Khan and Bollywood superstar Sharukh Khan, is among the eight persons nabbed by the Narcotics Control Bureau from a rave drug party on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on Saturday evening. The anti-drug agency seized banned substances and narcotics during the raid on the Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship. Three girls from Delhi were among those detained. They are daughters of prominent businessmen. The ship was bound for Goa with several other passengers. The 21-years old budding film actor is allegedly a habitual drug addict. The NCB officials claimed that a few days ago, they had received information about the rave party that was being organized on the passenger cruise ship.  NCB personnel on the receipt of the tip-off had booked tickets and boarded the cruise ship disguised as passengers. “As soon as the cruise left Mumbai coast and reached mid-sea, some passengers started consuming drugs after which the NCB officials started operation and caught them red-handed,” The Indian Express reported citing a source. Cocaine and other synthetics drugs were recovered from their possession which was subsequently seized during the raid, said officials. The captain of the ship was instructed to take the cruise to the international cruise terminal at Ballard Pier in south Mumbai. Zonal Director of NCB, Sameer Wankhede and his team brought all the detainees along with their luggage to the NCB office in south Mumbai. A senior NCB official told India Today that the agency is in possession of evidence against those detained. The Suspects are being questioned. The Ministry of Ports and Shipping and the Shipping Corporation of India was given a detailed report on the raid.  The sailing of the cruise was delayed due to the raid. Edited by PKC.
